We bought ourselves a kitchen today!

So when Greg gutted the kitchen at the new house a while ago he pretty much forced us to buy and build ourselves a new one. For the last few months we have been going back and forth on pricing kitchens at every which place and trying to find the right layout for the new kitchen. Since the kitchen is so small we want to maximize storage without making the place feel to crowded. So after tossing each kitchen bid around we decided to go with IKEA.

Our kitchen is set to be delivered in about two weeks and we have a lot to do between now and then. So much to do and not enough time. I think our family and friends are feeling a bit neglected right now because I feel like we never get to see anyone. Between deadlines of trying to get the house ready for the floor guy, my studying for my securities exam and Greg taking 4 classed and working full time some people and things have been put on the back burner. I am very sorry for that and I hope to remedy the situation soon. However, I will warn you I have one more exam to pass so the studying resumes next week when they give me the new materials.

So besides celebrating ordering kitchen cabinets we need to celebrate Greg getting accepted to Grad School. He applied and was accepted to JU's Master of Nursing program that is set to start in the fall. All I can say is he is the bomb squat!

So to end this post, I am showing you pictures of the kitchen we designed. Please be aware we did not choose the handles or counter tops or appliances. I just put them in the pictures for affect. Hope you like. What are we going to have for counter tops. We haven't decided right now nothing.
