Can you see my vision?

Someday Greg and I hope to move into our home. However, we have a long way to go before we can do that. So while I wait to move into my house I dream about what I can do to it, to make it mine.

So here are my ideas of what I would like to have. For those who know me you may not be aware that I love the coastal look. And as you may know my house could not be anything further removed from the "coastal look". Its a look that I have always loved from afar but I have finally begun to collect the pieces that I hope will make my house pop. I hope I don't go overboard but frankly I really want the look, I want it all or none.

So here are a few pieces that I would like to have throughout my house.
This is the ottoman that Greg and I purchased with our couch. It is padded so it makes it great to rest our feet on but at the same time it has awesome storage.

The couch below is also the couch that we purchased. We bravely, and maybe stupidly got the neutral cream/beige so it would go with multiple things.

So in this picture pay attention to the ceiling. This is the look I would love to do in my house. I think it is fabulous.

These are from pottery barn and come in a set of three. They are gorgeous and I would like to put them in my soon to be remodeled bathroom.

This lamp shade is awesome. I have only seen this in a catalog but if it was in a store this would probably be mine. I really, really like this lamp shade and I want to see if I can make it or locate it for a cheaper price. This one is going for $80. and thats the price for just the shade.

This is a daybed from pottery barn. I have thought about using something like this as dinining room seating to make a comfortable bench as well has a guest to stay over. Our house is tiny and if we have kids one day there will be no room for anyone to stay over. I think it would be a wise use of space.
I love these curtains from West Elm. The are expensive though. For two panels it is over $100 dollars. I have looked on the internet to try and find the shells to make my own and those little things are expensive as well. I'm not sure how I am going to recreate this look.

So this is just a small example of ideas that I have for my home. I hope I can implement some to make it the place for us.
