This piece would be nice in my dining room. In the new house we have a very small dining room. When we move in we are going to have a small vintage 50's dining table that I still have to find chairs for, but hey we got it for 30 bucks, when the things usually go for over a hundred.
Anyways I am always trying to think of a better, nicer, trendier dining room. I thinking about taking a nice couch and turning it into a bench seat and then having a couple of cafe tables in front of it. I think it would be really different and a space saver. Plus it is just Greg and I. When I get a picture I will post it so you can get an idea of what I am talking about.
For now this is a picture I took off Google, to show you an example of our current table. It has a gray formica top just like this one. The cool thing is I even have the original leaf to it, so I will be able to expand it when need be.

I absolutely love the new piece. My dad actually got a custom made table to fit in his dining room. It was like a hexagon shape with 3 sides being bench and the others open (chairs could be placed there) and it was amazingly inexpensive.
