Can It Be DONE?????

We bought the house on Marianna and officially closed on December 19th. We were handed the keys and then we promptly went to the house and started painting and ripping up carpet. It looked good for all of five minutes and now looks like a construction zone.

This is the hallway, we just ripped up the carpet and painted the hallway.


The master bedroom was a pain in the ass because it had two walls with wallpaper. Greg spent many hours trying to get that glue off. The walls still have a little bit of "texture"



After...


This room is what is supposed to be the master bedroom, but it is a very small room. I would never be able to go back to sleep when Greg wakes me up at 5:00 in the morning to take a shower before work. It is a reach out and touch someone size room...


So now we are making it the office...I chose to paint it a dark blue and I really like it.



This is what we hope the office will look like. We have already bought the desk and are just waiting to get the floors refinished.



So it is a work in progress. The biggest project left to do is the floors, and they are scary looking right now. Check out this pic of the floor in the living room.
