So Greg and I are thinking about buying a house. This is something that we have been tossing around for about a year. We worked with a realtor back in May and looked at a number of places but we just didn't find anything that fit us 100%, whether it be to much work or to much money or just not the right location. So we backed off for a while and quit looking.
The other day though the bug kicked up again and by chance we think we have found the house for us. It is a 1924 bungalow that is in the perfect area of town for us. It is 2 bed 1 bath with a garage apt. We are currently working on negotiating with the present owner of the house.
I can't believe we have gotten to this point. The house is not exactly the money we were planning on spending but its not a ton more than we were planning. Plus we made it into an area of town that I am very happy about living in and I am very close to my grandmother and my parents.
Now we just sit and wait. Wish us luck!!!!
